Features:
A 15-week trial with thoroughbreds measured the effect of Cellarator X on performance parameters. The outcome of the study produced the following results:
-
Reduction in lactic acid concentration in the blood
-
Increase in oxygen consumption and oxygen volume per heart beat due to a boost in red blood cells
-
Reduction in stress enzyme levels (CPK, SGOT and LDH) and cortisol concentration in the blood. This is extremely important as stress and cortisol have a direct effect on gastric ulcers. Because horses evolved with a nervous system that is highly responsive to stress, they are exceptionally sensitive to the stress hormone, cortisol. It’s the interaction of cortisol with the vagus nerve, which controls digestion, that causes ulcers.
