ChlorhexiDerm Shampoo 2% is an effective antiseptic, antimicrobial cleansing formulation, complemented with coat conditioners and provides rapid and persistent antimicrobial effect against a wide range of microorganisms. ChlorhexiDerm Shampoo 2% combines surface active penetrating agents and emollients for optimal therapeutic effectiveness. ChlorhexiDerm 2% is recommended for dermatological conditions where an antiseptic, antimicrobial, cleansing and deodorizing formulation may be of benefit. Directions: Wet coat thoroughly with water. Apply and lather shampoo over the entire body, allowing for 5 to 10 minutes of contact time. Rinse completely with water. Repeat procedure if necessary. Dry, itchy, hot spots, miserable February 28, 2008 Reviewer: JCK from Hope, RI United States   When I adopted him my big dog was miserable in his coat.  He licked, he chewed, and he threw himself on the ground constantly to roll around and itch himself.  After the vets cured all they could, he still threw himself down constantly and his coat was dry and brittle and skimpy, the skin was flaky and he looked awful.  I started shampooing him once a month with this shampoo following the directions to the letter.  Every shampoo treatment resulted in a vastly healthier, happier, shinier, and better smelling dog.  Now he is such a beautiful boy!
