Enalapril is used to treat mild, moderate or severe heart failure and high blood pressure and is usually used in combination with other medications. It is available as 2.5mg, 5mg, 10mg and 20mg tablets. The usual dose for dogs is 0.25mg per pound by mouth given once a day.
