Pasteurella Multocida Bacterial Extract-Mannheimia (Pasteurella) Haemolytica Toxoid

For vaccination of healthy dairy or beef cattle seven months of age or older as an aid in the prevention of pneumonic pasteurellosis by stimulating immunity to Mannheimia (P.) haemolytica and P. multocida.

DOSE: Cattle, inject one 2 mL dose intramuscularly using aseptic technique. Although only a single dose is necessary to confer active immunity, a booster dose is recommended whenever subsequent stress is likely. Healthy cattle should be vaccinated a minimum of 21 days prior to shipping or exposure to stress which may precipitate infectious conditions.

CAUTION: Store in the dark at 2° to 7°C (35° to 45°F). SHAKE WELL. DO NOT FREEZE. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Transient injection site reactions may occur in a small percentage of vaccinates. In case of anaphylactoid reaction, administer epinephrine.

Thimerosal added as preservative.
