I bought this for my daughters 4 1/2 yr.old paint gelding. Being the youngest horse in the pasture some of the other horses wouldn't let him eat his hay. We began putting Cool Calories in with his grain and he has filled out nicely. He really looks great & healthy. We recommend this to anyone who needs to put weight on their horse safely.

This product is GREAT. It literally saved my 32 year old mares life. She lost all of her teeth on one side, making it hard to thoroughly chew, digest her food properly. I started feeding her a mixture of beet pulp, alfalfa pellet and dry COB, making it into a mash which helped maintain her weight, but wasn't putting any weight back on her. I found Cool Calories 100. WOW. Amazing how fast and safely she put on the weight that she had lost. She has been VERY susceptible to colic. She can not have any feeds that have molasses in them, which made it harder to find a feed that was safe. Friends who also HAD older horses fed some type of Senior feeds, which caused colic. They had molasses in them making them HOT. I found a better alternative in this product. My old mare looks GREAT. She has put on all her lost weight and looks like she did in her early 20s. Her coat even has that shine back.
Thanks for the safe alternative for the Seniors of the world.
