Description   Zylexis is an immunomodulator consisting of killed parapox ovis virus. Zylexis aids in the reduction of upper respiratory disease associated with EHV-1 and EHV-4 that can be expensive to treat, and may compromise the health of other horses, resulting in lost training or competition time. Indications: Zylexis is for use in healthy horses 4 months or older as an aid in reducing upper respiratory disease caused by equine herpes virus type 1 and 4. Dosage and Administration: Zylexis Aseptically rehydrate the freeze-dried component with the sterile diluent provided. Repeat the 2-ml dose on days 2 and 9 following the initial dose. Retreatment is recommended during subsequent disease episodes or prior to stress-inducing situation.
