Small Cream Separators is perfect for household and small farms use. Cream Separator makes it possible to remove the cream from cow's or goat's milk at home or at the farm. They make their own butter, cheese and ice cream. Also, use the healthy, low-fat skimmed milk for drinking and cooking.

In the past Cream was made by the gravity method. The milk is pored into a large vertical pan and it sat for about two hours allowing the cream to rise to the top of a pan then skimming it off leaving the skim milk with approximately % 25 of fat in it.

It was not very efficient but it was very simple and easy way to get cream.

Using Centrifuging (Electric or manual cream Separator) to separate Cream

With new centrifuged cream separator Whole Cow or Goat milk is pored into a bowl, and passed through a central tubular shaft. A Motor or a crank rotates the bowl at a rate of from 7000 to 9,000 rpm depending on the type and the temperature of the milk. The spinning of the bowl causes the milk to be separated into layers. The cream and skimmed milk each comes out of a different spouts and get pored into separate collecting vessels.

The centrifuged cream separator makes it possible to control the amount of butterfat remaining in the milk. The faster the bowl spins the heaver the cream.
