Once a cat is infected with feline herpes, they are a carrier of the virus for the duration of their lives. This means flare-ups can occur at any time. Symptoms of feline herpes virus infection include sneezing, nasal discharge, and watery eyes. L-Lysine is an amino acid that has shown proven effectiveness against duration and severity of infections.
Overview
Each 322 mg (one rounded scoop) contains approximately 250 mg of L-Lysine in a palatable base. The suggested dose for cats over 6 months of age is one rounded scoop given orally twice daily. The suggested dose for kittens under 6 months of age is 1/2 scoop given orally twice daily. Adjust dosage as recommended by your veterinarian
