What does Hooflex Magic Cushion Xtreme do?
This product contains active ingredients of iodine (0.12%) and turpentine (27%), which begin working within an hour to reduce heat within the hooves. The formula has been proven to offer a significant reduction in heat within the hooves for as long as 24 hours, relieving the symptoms of hoof trauma and concussion. It is a natural product that does not test positive.

Tips for using Hooflex Magic Cushion Xtreme
This product is an excellent choice for horses with:
- Concussive hoof tissue trauma

Overview
Directions : First thoroughly clean hoof using a hoof pick and wire brush if necessary. Due to the sticky nature of the ingredients, you may want to use gloves to apply. Excess product may be removed with Absorbine Veterinary Liniment or isopropyl alcohol.
For packing under a shoe and pad: Pack hoof sole with Magic Cushion prior to nailing or gluing on pad and shoe.
For Packing overnight: Pack hoof sole with Magic Cushion to a depth of ½ inch. For optimal results, especially for barefoot horses, cover sole with paper or plastic, then cover entire hoof and sole with self-adhering wraps, duct tape or hoof boot. Reapply every 24-48 hours until condition improves.
For treating abscesses: Always consult your veterinarian or farrier. Pack hoof sole with Magic Cushion, cover with paper or plastic, then cover entire hoof and sole with self-adhering wrap, duct tape or hoof boot. Reapply every 24 hours until condition improves.
