Equimax Paste (1.87% Ivermectin and 14.03% Praziquantel) is for the removal and management of the following parasitic infestations:

What is Equimax Paste?
Equimax is a horse paste wormer for the treatment and control of tapeworms, large strongyles, small blood worms, ascarids, threadworms, pinworms, hairworms, large mouth stomach worms, lungworms and bots in horses.
Which animals/pets is Equimax Paste for?
For use in horses four weeks of age and older, as well as pregnant, nursing, and breeding horses.
Equimax Paste uses
This medication provides an effective mode of treating a variety of parasitic infestations.
What does Equimax Paste do?
Each syringe's paste is capable of treating a single 1320 lb horse. Its dose ratio is 91 mcg of ivermectin for every pound (200mcg/kg), with 0.68mg of praziquantel for every pound (1.5 mg/kg). *Important Note: Every mark on the syringe signifies the amount of product necessary for every 220 lbs.
Equimax Paste side effects
Swelling/itching effects occurring after administration have been reported in equine with severe infestations of neck threadworm microfilariae.

Tips for using Equimax Paste
Only to be administered orally. Strictly for use in horses. Eradicates worms and bots after a one time dose.
Overview
While holding plunger, turn the knurled ring on the plunger 1/4 turn to the left and slide it so the side nearest the barrel is at the prescribed weight marking.
Lock the ring in place by making a 1/4 turn to the right.
Make sure that the horse’s mouth contains no feed.
Remove the cover from the tip of the syringe.
Insert the syringe tip into the horse’s mouth at the space between the teeth.
Depress the plunger as far as it will go, depositing paste on the back of the tongue.
Immediately raise the horse’s head for a few seconds after dosing.
