How To Order Prescriptions

Welcome to the Allivet Online prescription information.

The Federal Law requires that prescription drugs to be restricted to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian (USA Orders Only). Before we can process your prescription medicine order, we must have a prescription from your veterinarian on file. Four convenient ways to provide us with prescription:

  • 1- Your veterinarian may Call, email, or Fax the prescription to us
  • 2- If you have the prescription already, you may Mail to us
  • 3- If we have a refill for you on file, place your order & we'll take care of the rest
  • 4- You may submit your pet name and you veterinarian info at the end of your order, and we will contact him/her for authurization.

The order will be held pending the veterinarians authorization. If you would like to place an order before your veterinarian calls or faxes the prescription, you may do so. Our customer service representative can place the order on hold until we receive the prescription.

As soon as the prescription is received, the order will be released.
NOTE: Prescriptions are refillable, if indicated, for one year from the date on which they were written. After that time, your veterinarian will need to authorize a new prescription.

We are unable to accept returned prescription drugs due to federal and state laws.
