Last year the support of the Walk for Animals has helped place 9,000 animals into homes and allows the humane society to house over 300 animals at any given time. Not only does the  Humane Society of Broward County provides shelter, aid and responsible adoptions to animals entrusted in their care,  but they also educate the community about respect and kindness to all animals.
