Horse Ear Care

Showing 5 of 5 Results
Horses depend on their sensitive hearing to help them perceive dangers and survive in their surroundings.
Horse ear care should start with routine ocular checks for irregularities such as ear cysts or ear lacerations.  Some ear problems may be difficult to spot.
Various symptoms might be ear sensitivity from touch or sound, head shaking or head tilting.  A horse’s ears should only be internally checked and cleaned by a medical professional.
