Ultrabac-8 works to prevent diseases associated with enterotoxemia and enteritis caused by Clostridium perfringens Types B, C and D; black disease caused by Clostridium novyi; malignant edema caused by Clostridium septicum; bacillary hemoglobinuria caused by Clostridium haemolyticum; blackleg caused by Clostridium chauvoei; and gas gangrene caused by Clostridium sordellii.

What are the side effects of Ultrabac-8?

Anaphylaxis can occur with this and many other vaccines. Epinephrine should be administered in these cases, and you should contact your veterinarian for further instruction.

What special precautions are there?

  • Use full contents upon opening.
  • Do not vaccinate within 21 days of slaughter.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

What to do if overdose?

Contact your closest emergency animal hospital.

How can I store Ultrabac-8?

Store at 2°-7°C. Don't freeze.

Overview

Shake well.
 
Cattle: Aseptically administer 5 mL subcutaneously, followed by a second dose 4-6 weeks later. In accordance with Beef Quality Assurance guidelines, this product should be administered subcutaneously (SC) under the skin.
 
Sheep: Aseptically administer 21/2 mL subcutaneously, followed by a second dose 4-6 weeks later. For Cl. haemolyticum, repeat the dose every 5-6 months in animals subject to reexposure. Annual revaccination with a single dose is recommended.
