What are the side effects of Piliguard Pinkeye Trivalent 50 ds?

  • Short-term reactions at the injection site could occur.
  • In case of anaphylaxis, epinephrine should be administered.
  • Hypersensitivity could occur and may lead to a temporary milk production reduction in lactating cattle.

What special precautions are there?

  • A preservative of gentamicin is included.
  • Not for use in goats or sheep.
  • Only for animal use.
  • Use caution in injecting this vaccine. Take care not to inject your own hand or finger. Accidental injection can lead to a severe local reaction. Seek medical attention of accidental human injection occurs.
  • Granulomas can result from use, which could persist for many weeks.
  • Entire contents should be used upon opening.
  • Never vaccinate within 60 days of slaughter.

What to do if overdose?

Contact your closest emergency animal hospital.

How can I store Piliguard Pinkeye Trivalent 50 ds?

Don't freeze. Store between 2° to 7°C (35° to 45°F).

Overview

Give 2 ml IM or SQ in neck to beef or dairy cattle 3-6 weeks prior to onset of pinkeye season.
