TrichGuard contains killed protozoa of Tritrichomonas foetus to produce antibodies that protect cattle from infection and associated diseases.

How is TrichGuard sold?

What are the side effects of TrichGuard?

If anaphylactoid reaction occurs, epinephrine should be administered.

What special precautions are there?

  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Use full contents upon opening.
  • This vaccine contains polymyxin B and neomycin as preservatives.
  • Do not vaccinate within 60 days of slaughter.

What to do if overdose?

Contact your closest emergency animal hospital.

How can I store TrichGuard?

Don't freeze. Store in dark at 2° to 7°C (35° to 45°F).

Helpful Tips:

Annual re-vaccination is recommended.


Dosage is 2 ml SQ. Repeat in 2-4 weeks
