The UltiGuard Safe Pack is the only all-in-one system to store, dispense and dispose of insulin syringes.
UltiCare VetRx insulin syringes are human grade and provide a triple bevel electromagnetic polished, silicone-coated needle with bold barrel markings and large barrel flanges for accurate dosing, easy grip and control, and a more comfortable injection for pets.
What does UltiCare VetRx U-40 UltiGuard Safe Pack Insulin Syringes do?
UltiGuard Safe Pack has an upper and a lower chamber. New syringes are dispensed from the lower chamber and safely discarded in the upper chamber. UltiGuard Safe Pack secures used syringes once the wheel on the side of the container has been turned.
When you have used all the syringes, follow your state or local guidelines for proper disposal. Use as directed by a veterinarian.
What to know before using UltiCare VetRx U-40 UltiGuard Safe Pack Insulin Syringes
Your veterinarian will prescribe either U-40 or U-100 insulin for your pet. It is critical that you use the corresponding insulin syringe for proper dosing. While U-40 is often prescribed for cats and dogs, it’s important to know there are two types of syringes used for insulin injections. U-40 insulin syringes will have a red cap and tend to be smaller in size. U-100 insulin syringes will have an orange cap and are a little larger in size.

Each UltiGuard Safe Pack contains 100 single-use premium human-grade U-40 insulin syringes. U-40 insulin syringes are available in 3/10cc, 1/2cc, and 1cc sizes with full unit markings, and in 3/10cc and 1/2cc sizes with half-unit markings.
