How does Alpha-7/MB-1 Cattle Vaccine work?
Chemically inactivated cultures of (Clostridium Chauvoei-Septicum-Novyi-Sordellii-Perfringens Types C & D-Moraxella Bovis Bacterin-Toxoid) help provide immunity against blackleg and pinkeye in healthy cattle. Immunity may be provided against the beta and epsilon toxins elaborated by Clostridium perfringens type B. This immunity is derived from the combination of type C (beta) and type D (epsilon) fractions.

Injection site swellings will often occur that may persist. Anaphylactoid reactions may occur. Antidote: Epinephrine.
What special precautions are there?
Keep away from children and animals. Do not vaccinate within 60 days before slaughter. The use of a biological product in lactating dairy cattle can cause reduced milk production.
Warning : Animal inoculation only. Accidental injection to humans can cause serious local reactions. Contact a physician immediately if accidental injection occurs.

Dosage & Administration :
Using aseptic technique inject a single 2 mL dose Sub-Q to cattle 2 months of age or older, prior to the onset of pinkeye season. Calves vaccinated under 3 months of age should be revaccinated at weaning or at 4-6 months of age. A 2 mL booster dose is recommended annually.
