Do not administer this medication to animals who have:
  • High blood pressure
  • Allergy to this drug
  • Hypersensitivity to this drug
  • Hyperthyroidism
  • Heart rhythm abnormalities
  • Seizure disorders
  • Diabetes
Never ignore other medication’s interaction with terbutaline. Animals on L-thyroxine (thyroid supplement) should take this medication with caution. There have been reports of interactions with this drug and anesthetics and antidepressants.

Always tell your veterinarian about any other medications your pet takes.

Most adverse side effects can be traced to terbutaline dosage and may include symptoms like: nervousness, increased heart rate and tremors.

Keep away from children and animals. This material is intended for subcutaneous injection under the supervision of physicians. Avoid breathing vapor. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Do not taste or swallow. Wash throughly after handling.

Store in a dry and cool environment. 68º - 77ºF (20º - 25ºC). Shield from light.
