What to know before using UltiCare VetRx U-40 Insulin Syringes
Your veterinarian will prescribe either U-40 or U-100 insulin for your pet. It is critical that you use the corresponding insulin syringe for proper dosing. While U-40 is often prescribed for cats and dogs, it’s important to know there are two types of syringes used for insulin injections. U-40 insulin syringes will have a red cap and tend to be smaller in size. U-100 insulin syringes will have an orange cap and are a little larger in size.

Each box contains 100 single-use premium human-grade U-40 insulin syringes. U-40 insulin syringes are available in 3/10cc, 1/2cc and 1cc sizes with full unit markings, and in 3/10cc and 1/2cc sizes with half-unit markings.
