Rescue Disinfectant Concentrate Description
Formerly known as Accel, Rescue is a concentrated deodorizer and disinfectant cleaner that only requires one step for use. It is intended for veterinary use and contains AHP (Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide). It is highly effective in the treatment of pathogenic microorganisms when used on non-porous, hard surfaces as directed. This includes:
  • Mildew
  • Mold
  • Fungi
  • Viruses
  • Bacteria
This product can be used in animal facilities, as it is safer than traditional disinfectants for the environment, animals, and humans. It keeps surfaces smelling fresh and clean by reducing bacteria that causes odors. This is a fragrance-free product.

Rescue is a one-step disinfectant cleaner and deodorizer concentrate formulated with Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide (AHP) for veterinary use. It is ideal for animal facilities and is safer for humans, animals and the environment than traditional disinfectants.

What does Rescue Disinfectant Concentrate do?
Rescue works through its active ingredient, AHP. This is a synergistic blend that is patented and contains safe, commonly used ingredients. Those ingredients are combined with hydrogen peroxide to improve cleaning performance and germicidal potency. Without being harmful to the user, hydrogen peroxide can kill germs.

What to know before using Rescue Disinfectant Concentrate
This product should be kept away from animals and children.

Caution for Rescue Concentrate:
  • If swallowed, this product is harmful.
  • Can cause eye irritation that is moderate.
  • Do not allow product to come in contact with clothing or eyes.
  • Wear face shield or chemical splash-proof goggles
  • After handling, wash hands thoroughly with soap and water
  • Wash before using tobacco, chewing gum, drinking, or eating.
First Aid

EYE EXPOSURE: Rinse eye with water for 15 to 20 minutes while holding it open. If you are wearing contact lenses, remove them in the first 5 minutes and continue to flush the eye.

SKIN OR CLOTHING EXPOSURE: Remove clothing that has been contaminated. Immediately rinse your skin with water for 15 to 20 minutes.

IF PRODUCT IS INGESTED: If the individual can swallow, have them sip water. Never induce vomiting unless a doctor or poison control instructs you to do so. When a person is unconscious, never give them anything by mouth.

IN AN EMERGENCY, CALL A DOCTOR OR POISON CONTROL FOR ADVICE ON TREATMENT. When going in for treatment, bring the product label or container with you. Physician note: Probable mucosal damage may contraindicate gastric lavage.

Overview
Directions For Use :

It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

This product is not to be used as a terminal sterilant/high level disinfectant on any surface or instrument that (1) is introduced directly into the human body, either into or in contact with the blood stream or normally sterile areas of the body, or (2) contacts intact mucous membranes but which does not ordinarily penetrate the blood barrier or otherwise enter normally sterile areas of the body. This product may be used to pre-clean or decontaminate critical or semi-critical medical devices prior to sterilization or high level disinfection.

For Use as a One-Step Cleaner / Disinfectant: Dilute at 8.0 oz. of product per gallon of water (1:16).

1) Pre-clean heavily soiled areas.

2) Apply Use Solution by coarse trigger sprayer to hard, non-porous environmental surfaces. Spray 6-8 inches from surface; making sure to wet surfaces thoroughly.

3) All surfaces must remain wet for 5 minutes.

4) Wipe surfaces and let air dry.

For use as a disinfectant on precleaned non-critical medical devices¥ instruments and implements: Dilute at 8.0 oz. of product per gallon of water (1:16)

1) Instrument must be thoroughly cleaned to remove excess organic debris, rinsed and dried.

2) Thoroughly clean and rinse lumens of hollow instruments.

3) Using either tray or an ultrasonic unit, immerse instrument in use solution for 5 minutes at room temperature.

4) Remove and rinse instruments.

5) Wipe dry prior to use.

6) Discard solution after each use.

Non-critical medical devices are items that come in contact only with intact skin.

Note: Critical and Semi-critical devices must be followed up by appropriate terminal sterilization/high-level disinfection process.

For Use as a General Cleaner / Degreaser: Dilute product at 0.5 - 1.0 oz. of product per gallon of water (1:128 - 1:256). Apply to surfaces. Wipe surfaces and let air dry.

For Use as a Deodorizer: Dilute at 1 oz. of product per gallon of water (1:128). Apply to hard, non-porous surfaces. Let stand for 3 minutes.

Not recommended for use on copper, brass or marble.
