Tips for using Silver Sulfadiazine 1% Cream 400 gm
- To prevent anything from getting into the cream or the wound, apply dressing in a closed room with low circulation of air. Apply the cream to the gauze and cut dressing to proper size for the wound. Either use a disposable instrument or sterilize it before using.
- Use enough cream to cover the wound, approximately 1/6 of an inch thick.
- When applied to fresh wounds, it is normal for the gauze to turn a brown color from the cream.
