Nemex-2 Oral Liquid is an oral pyrantel pamoate liquid for removal of roundworms and hookworms in dogs and puppies. Give 5 ml (1 tsp.) for each 10 lbs. of body weight. For maximum control and prevention of reinfestation, puppies should be treated at 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 10 weeks of age. Lactating bitches should be treated 2-3 weeks after whelping. Adult dogs may be treated at monthly intervals. Very palatable caramel flavor. Exceptionally safe. This product is highly recommended by vets everywhere because of its Effectiveness and safety record.

I use Nemex 2 when a vet I work with doesn't have Strongid T in stock. It's flavored better than Strongid T but requires a totally different/larger amount of dosage. Be sure to read the label. I assume the difference is due to caramel flavoring. Unless it's a small breed I suggest purchasing 16 ox/473 ml as the bottles usually have an expiration date 3 years ahead. I recently purchased both Strongid T (for my puppies first 2 wormings and Nemex 2 for the rest and their Mom's couple of wormings. I highly recommend Nemex 2, especially with finicky dogs that wont take anything. It can be found for $59.99 shipped.. :X Good luck!
