Credelio CAT kills adult fleas and is indicated for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations for one month in cats and kittens 8 weeks of age and older, and weighing 2 pounds or greater. Credelio CAT is also indicated for treatment and control of black-legged tick infestations for one month in cats and kittens 6 months of age and older, and weighing 2 pounds or greater.

Administered on a convenient monthly basis, Credelio CAT wipes out flea/tick infestations in the form of a tasty, chewable, beef flavored tablet.
What does Credelio CAT Flea & Tick Chewable Tablets do?
The active ingredient in Credelio CAT (known as Lotilaner) is an ectoparasiticide that works through rendering the skin of an ectoparasite’s host uninhabitable. Ectoparasites are parasitic insects and Acari (mites/ticks) that live on the outside of their host, generally on the skin. Credelio deals with their infestation by stopping the parasites’ ability to transfer GABA chloride across cell membranes. Because these chemicals are essential to the maintenance of neuromuscular homeostasis, their inhibition results in the parasites’ death, leaving your dog happy and flea/tick free. Note* this medication is selectivly toxic, and may affect mammals in different ways.

What to know before using Credelio CAT Flea & Tick Chewable Tablets
Not for human use. Keep out of reach of children and animals. Lotilaner is a member of the isoxazoline class. This class has been associated with neurologic adverse reactions including tremors, incoordination, and seizures. Neurologic adverse reactions have been reported in cats receiving isoxazoline class drugs, even in cats without a history of neurologic disorders. Use with caution in cats with a history of neurologic disorders. The safety of Credelio CAT has not been established in breeding, pregnant and lactating cats.
