Spirovac VL5 Description
Spirovac VL5 vaccinates cattle against diseases associated with Campylobacter fetus, Leptospira icterohaemorrhagiae, Leptospira canicola, Leptospira grippotyphosa, Leptospira pomona, and Leptospira borgpetersenii serovar. It prevents renal tract and reproductive colonization. It is particularly recommended to prevent Leptospira hardjo in the kidneys, which sheds in the urine, establishes in the genital tract, and can also infect the fetus.

For use in healthy cattle (including pregnant cows) ages 4 weeks and up.
Spirovac VL5 uses
Spirovac VL5 aids in the prevention of renal tract and reproductive colonization, along with urinary shedding, for a period of one year. It also prevents fetal infection.
What does Spirovac VL5 do?
Spirovac VL5 uses an adjuvanted, unique, inactivated, and specially-prepared strain of Leptospira borgpetersenii serovar hardjo-bovis with adjuvanted and inactivated cultures of Campylobacter fetus, Leptospira canicola, Leptospira grippotyphosa, and Leptospira pomona.

Overview
Dosage is 2 ml SQ, with a booster in 4-6 weeks. When used as an aid for fetal protection, administer the second dose at least 2 weeks prior to breeding.
