What is EasOtic Suspension for Dogs 10ml?
Treat ear infections (otis externa) in dogs with a susceptible strains of yeast and bacteria.
Who is it for?
For dogs only
Why use it?
Indicated for the treatment of acute otitis externa and acute exacerbation of recurrent otitis externa associated with bacteria susceptible to gentamicin and fungi susceptible to miconazole in particular malassezia pachydermatis.
How it works?
Hydrocortisone aceponate is a glucocorticoid with anti-inflammatory effects. Miconazole nitrate is an imidazole antifungal. Gentamicin sulfate is an aminolgly-coside antibiotic.

How is it sold?
EastOtic suspension is supplied in a polyethylene canister, with a soft applicator canula.
What are the side effects?
The use of ear preparations may be associated with damage to hearing. This is usually temporary and happens primarily in older dogs.
Easotic must not be used in dogs that may be allergic to the active substances or any of the other ingredients, if the eardrum is perforated, at the same time as with other medicines that can harm the ear, or in dogs with a parasite infection called generalised demodecosis (mange). What special precautions are there?
Do NOT use in dogs with known tympanic membrane perforations.
What to do if overdose?
Consult your nearest emergency animal hospital.
How Can I store it?
Store at temperatures between 20°C-25°C(68°F-77°F), with excursions permitted between 15° C-30° C(59°F-86°F).
Helpful Tips:
Prior to the first use of the dosing canister, prime the pump by depressing the pump 1 to 2 times to fill the clear canula (tip) with a full dose of product.
Continue dose for 5 days.

Verify that the tympanic membrane is intact. Shake well before each use.
Priming the canister: Prior to the first use of the dosing canister, prime the pump by depressing the pump 1 to 2 times to fill the clear canula (tip) with a full dose of product.
Carefully insert the canula into the affected external ear canal(s) and apply 1 mL (a single pump) of suspension once per day for 5 days. Wash hands after usage.
EasOtic is contraindicated in dogs with known or suspected hypersensitivity to corticosteriods, imidazole antifungals, or aminoglycoside antibiotics.

Please be very aware. This product caused my dog to go completely deaf after just 2 uses. Please be careful with any product using gentamicin sulfate. The vet doesn't think his hearing will ever come back.
