Do not use in:
  • Lactating or pregnant animals, unless your veterinarian determines that the benefits outweigh the risks
  • Cats with left-sided heart failure because of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM)
  • Pets with bronchospastic lung disease
  • Pets with low heart rates
  • Pets with heart block greater than first degree
  • Pets with heart failure
  • Hypersensitive pets (to any drug in this class)
Use with caution in pets with:
  • Gastrointestinal ulcers
  • Heart conditions
  • Asthma
  • Diabetes
  • Significant kidney disease
Dogs with certain ADRB1 genes can be more sensitive to this medication's effects.
