The most common side effect is diarrhea. Pantoprazole may interact with other medications. Such drugs include certain anti-fungal drugs such as ketoconazole, itraconazole, iron, thyroid supplements, sucralfate, and/or warfarin.

What special precautions are there?

Keep away from children and animals. Pantoprazole should not be used in animals with known hypersensitivity or allergy to the drug.

Contact your nearest emergency animal hospital
