The collar's polymer matrix uses extended-release technology to gradually distribute the active ingredients across your cat's skin and coat for 8 months. That's season-to-season flea and tick prevention for cats that you can count on.
Occasionally slight itching may be observed in animals that are not used to wearing collars in the first few days after fitting. Ensure that the collar is not fitted too tightly. Slight hair loss and mild skin reactions due to the mechanical irritation of the collar may occur at the application site which usually recover within 1 or 2 weeks without the need for collar removal. If you notice any serious effects or other effects not mentioned in this leaflet, please inform your veterinarian.

Do not attach a leash to the collar as this may cause breakage.
Do not use on kittens under ten weeks of age. Do not get this product in cat’s eyes or mouth. As with any product, consult your veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, breeding, pregnant, or nursing animals. Individual sensitivities, while rare, may occur after using ANY pesticide product for pets.

How to apply the Seresto collar on your cat:<p>
1. Remove collar from packaging.<p>
2. Unroll collar and remove the small plastic connectors from inside the collar, ensuring that no remnants remain.<p>
3. Insert the end of the collar through the buckle and loops.<p>
4. Adjust the collar around your cat's neck until it fits comfortably on them.<p>
5. Two fingers should fit beneath the collar and neck to ensure it is not too tight. Any excess length of the collar beyond an inch past the loops should be cut off unless it is on a growing kitten, where some additional length may be needed for adjustment as the kitten grows. Also, make sure the collar cannot be pulled over the head.<p>
6. Check periodically and adjust fit if necessary, especially if you have a kitten that is rapidly growing.
