My mother used a horse liniment on my rheumatoid arthritis since I was diagnosed at 5yrs old. It was a warm dark liquid called verconico and as a kid I hated the smell but it worked miracles! My dad used Absorbine Jr for his horses when I was a child back in the 1940s. I grew up with it being used on the family when we had scratches or insect bites or sore muscles. So it was just normal for me to use it with my children. I was so happy when they started making the gel version. I find the gel much easier to apply than the plain liniment.

I bought this product when I was visiting my sister in Arkansas, I brought it back home to New York for my husband and recently my father in law has been using it and it has helped so much. He would wake up every morning with knee pain and could barely walk. We started putting this gel on him and he was better the following day, he uses it every morning. It has definitely helped him. My husband had knee problems also and has also used this gel and his knee has not been bothering him since he started using this product.
