Adequan has really helped my 14yo Golden

My Golden Retriever has been on adequan for arthritis in her back for several years now. She’s never had any side effects. She’s also 14 years old and still going strong—joint pain does not limit her activity. Putting her on adequan and keeping her on it has been a great decision.

So far we are on inject # 4. I know anything I’ve read staes he should not be having the effect of Adequan yet but his limping is much better and some of the time not at all. Buddy may be 16 years old and living his best life here in north Florida with us. He was between 2 and 3 years old when he was found in southern Georgia on the road side in the forest area. We fostered him in 2012 and failed. I know he won’t be are much longer, but hopefully will so we want the best for him and Aequan so far is a game changer for Buddy!

Our girl has hip dysplasia. Adequan has helped her when she is very active. She is moving around better with no limp and is more playful with the other pups.

My 14 year old cat was starting to have some mobility issues. The base of her tail was getting very oily and I was helping her keep it clean. A month or 2 into giving her Adequan injections, she was able to keep up with her own grooming again, and started playing more vigorously!

My vet recommended Adequan for my now 12yr old German Shepherd with Degenerative Myelopathy. This works wonders in addition to the other arthritis and pain medications he is on. We've been able to slow the progression and keep him happy and moving. He seems less stiff and he's able to get up (slowly of course) onto the couch again. He even has bouts of energy were he runs and plays with the other dogs outside in the yard. I'm so happy we are able to keep our best friend comfortable in his golden years.

I have used this for both of my Shepherds a decade apart. I still find it helpful during the Golden Years. I suggest starting it sooner rather than later. At Gracies stage it will only help her not keep loosing and/or help her comfort level increase. If you start early enough it will help build cartilage thus reversing the process of deterioration. I was able to administer it myself sub-Q.

Giving Adequan injections Sub-Q as recommended by my Vet. Has worked wonders for my 12 yr old Labrador with DJD and possible CCL tear. His mobility has dramatically improved. He just had his 8th injection with the initial 4 week period. Have discontinued Novox and Gabapentin for now because not needed!
