Clindamycin, an orally-administered medication, suppresses the reproduction and growth of bacteria.
The most common side effects of clindamycin are diarrhea and vomiting.

  • Do not administer to pets with allergies to lincomycin or clindamycin.
  • May cause diarrhea. If the diarrhea is bloody or watery, contact your veterinarian.
  • This medication is effective and safe for use with other veterinarian-prescribed drugs. Discuss all medications your pet is taking, including drugs, minerals, vitamins, and supplements, with your veterinarian prior to starting clindamycin.
Sold by the capsule in 25 mg, 75 mg, and 150 mg strengths.
