I have used this for one of my dogs for a year and it suddenly became unavailable. I finally found it on Allivet. I will continue to use Allivet because the service was prompt, courteous, and complete.

My dog has been on Prozac and a relatively high dose of Xanax for 5+ years, with numerous trials of other anti-anxiety medications. She wears a pheromone collar, I've tried the diffusers. . . pretty much I've tried everything. Recently her anxiety worsened, to the point that it was difficult for me to leave for work in the morning. I tried adding this product to her daily regimen, and (knock on wood) it has worked like a charm. For her it is not a replacement for medication, but it does make a significant difference.

My 13 year Shar-pei, Mei-Ling is 13 years old and on insulin for Diabetes. Since we down sized into an RV, she has become extremely anxious because she has never lived anywhere else since she first came home with us. Also, since I walked her 3x a day, every day, she is exposed to other dogs in the Park, and no longer has a fence between her and the other dogs. So the only we can live with her since she paces up and down the RV floor stepping on everyone's feet, and then also tap dances with her toe nails on the floor, is to give her the Anxitane M&L.

One of our three dogs is a female Australian cattle dog/lab mix that is very high-strung. We were recommended this product and have been using it for years now. It takes the edge off our girl just enough that she is calmer and much more content than she previously was.

Trying this as an adjunct to Zylkene on advice of others

We found the availability of this product easier than searching at the vet. In addition, it was much more reasonably priced than at other retail stores. Delivery was prompt and the fulfillment process from order to receipt was great. We are true believers in allivet.

I used these chewables before on my other cat when I had just gotten her some 3 years ago and it worked very well. However with my most recent addition to the pet household, it's not working so well. His issues have become more serious and I need something stronger to help him. I wouldn't say that the product has failed but I think it's effective based on the level of anxiety that the cat my be at.

Anxitane Tabs work well for anxiety. However it's also seems to work as a diuretic and my dog was urinating a lot. Because of that we had to take her off but I am so happy to know that products are being made with great natural ingredients for our pets. It didn't work well for us but it may work better for someone else.

Before trying this product we tried many other calming essentials.From oils to sprays but none of them worked to my satisfaction. I wasn't certain if this product was working, until I stopped giving it to my Lab and noticed the change in his behavior when even a little bit under stressed. I immediately started giving it back to him and really noticed the improvement. I am staying with this product. It's amazing.

My cat sufferes from anxiety and takes the pill either way. Whole or crushed. Since he can sometimes be moody, I try to just sneak it into his food so he eats up and not try to refuse it, which he has done in the past. Before taking this product he was literally pulling out his hair, the shedding was insane. Now that he is on it, he still licks but there is no hair loss. As a matter of fact, the hair is growing back and filling in nicely. I recommend it.

Love the name Mr.steams and I agree with you on Anxitane Chewable Tablets they work great. I can always find great products with allivet.

I was talking to a friend about my cats anxiety problems. It seems to have gotten worse and was driving me a bit crazy. She mentioned that she had heard other people who had cats with similar behavior speak great things about these chewables, so I decided to buy it. It's been a week and I am not too certain yet how it is working but I am very excited.

My dog doesn't exactly like the taste of the tab but because it helps keep him calm, we continue to give it to him. He doesn't give us a hard time to take it because following that we always give him a treat. It works.

My cat was very stressed after we moved to a new place, she would constantly urinate outside her litter box. Cat owners know how horrible cat pee smells. I tried to get her to go in it but she wouldn't. Once she started on the chewables, things have calmed down. She now goes in her litter box and I am convinced that the product works.
