For use in kittens, cats, puppies, and dogs over the age of 4 weeks and weighing at least 2 pounds. Also safe for use in nursing or pregnant cats and dogs.
Capstar is an effective flea treatment that works in as little as one treatment. Capstar stops fleas from biting and kills adult fleas within 30 minutes.
Capstar Tablets treat flea infestations, working to kill adult fleas with the active ingredient nitenpyram.
In increasing order of frequency, the most frequently-reported side effects in dogs are: nervousness, fever, salivation, vocalization, hives, panting, seizures, trembling, incoordination, hyperactivity, diarrhea, decreased appetite, itching, vomiting, depression or lethargy.
