Carpofen has been effective in mitigating the pain and inflammation of our senior boys and girls' arthritis. It appears to be as effective as Rimadyl but definitely more affordable. Allivat has been a reliable method of getting our pup's prescriptions to us in a timely and dependable manner. Recommend both.

Brand keeps changing, but dog still likes them

My dog is a whole new dog on this anti inflammatory. She gets up and moves more, which helps her keep her weight down. (She’s on a high quality protein, yet limited calorie diet anyway because she’s a foodie.) She’s seven years old large breed Bernese Mountain Dog that is a retired AKC registered breeder. We got her from the breeder when she was retired after four litters and a once a year breeding. She was in a health decline, not moving much, and not sleeping well. I had some leftover of this medicine from one of my other dogs, so we talked to the vet and gave her a dose. It was like night and day. She perked up and became interested in life again. Her breed (and especially her as a personality) is very stoic and so doesn’t seek communication and assistance when she hurts. She now bounces around in the snow like a puppy again. Allivet has helped us afford to get her this medicine for about half the cost of what it costs through my local vet. (Which is even cheaper than the other vet we go to.) It’s been a game changer and will help her have a good quality of life in her retirement years.

Carprofin chewable tablets

Our dog now has a tumor on his foot. The Carprofin helps with inflammation and pain. He eats the liver flavor tablet like it’s a treat! Bought 10 tablets from the vet, at first, and it was soooo expensive. Allivet is a fraction of the price and on auto ship. So easy.

We give Carprofen to our 14 year old Rough coat Collie. It works great! She gets relief from her aches and pains.

Our 11 yr old Pitt/German Shepard was slowing down with age. We had no idea it was due to joint pain since we do give him supplements for joint health. He had a mass removed from a front leg and was prescribed Carprofen post-surgical. The change was almost immediate. Instead of being slowed down further he and his older sister (prescribed another medication due to an elevated liver value) started playing tug-of-war in the yard like they did when they were much younger. We are thrilled to have our "puppies" feeling so much better and even playing like puppies again!

Carprofen is the only pain med my dog doesn't mind eating - must taste good!

My dog started to walk without limping 3-5 hours after she takes Carprofen.

Has definitely helped with my dog's knee. She can't handle the full 100mg, but 50 mg seems to be the sweet spot. Nausea can be an issue hence why we use half the dosage.

Our 14 years old Amstaff is having pain issues. Our Vet recommended these and started him. Ofcourse we want the best for him & to be as pain free as possible. Allivet has always come through with offering Medications @ affordable prices. Thank You Allivet

Carprofen Chewable tablets were recommended by my vet. I crush them and mix them with her lunch. Prior, Shelby was getting an unflavored chewable tablet and didn't ingest it most of the time and that worried me. Since giving the Carprofen to my Shelby, she eats all her lunch and the meds.
