What does Drontal Feline 50 Tabs Bottle do?
Drontal contains active ingredients of pyrantel pamoate and praziquantel. Praziquantel works to damage the skin of the parasite internally, forcing the parasite to disintegrate. It is then eradicated by the immune system. Pyrantel pamoate works against ascarids and hookworms. It is a blocking agent that leads to parasite paralysis. This causes the hookworm to lose its grip inside the wall of the intestine. It is then naturally removed from the system of the pet.
