It really helps my dog with his skin allergies.

Our German Shepherd has had itchy skin for years. We changed her food several times and finally put her on Apequel. A friend told us about Mal-A-Ket shampoo. We have been bathing our German Shepherd every other day for a couple of weeks and she hardly itches/scratches herself anymore. We are going to take her off the meds and see if she still does well.

My dog has a couple of major food allergies, and I still find new things he's allergic to from time to time. It's a little pricey, but it does the job on clearing infections on my dog's paws. And, with either GenOne or Vetericyn, helps clear up issues on his belly too (doesn't work alone on the belly!! Must use both and also shampoo the fur around the legs and butt and other areas adjacent to any infection -- just an FYI).

This is an amazing product! My mini dachshund is 15 years old and has battled skin problems all his life. I have spent a fortune trying to help him and this is the best I have found. I bathe him at least once a month leaving it on him for 10 minutes before rinsing, that is very important. Leaving it on your dog for 10 minutes is the most important part. He feels so much better after his baths. Also, over the years I have found that sprinkling tumeric all over him and just rubbing it in his coat really helped to relieve his itching when it was real bad and made him feel better:o) You will love this product!

My vet recommended this because my dog just put off a nasty odor, ever since I started using this he has a normal smell, also before you use this product wash your dog with a base wash(Davis tearless brand is what I use).

I was able to get (2) bottles for ( $33.00) $3.00 more at Allivet. It was like buy one get one Free. GREAT PRODUCT AND GREAT PRICE !!!!! High maintenance Bloodhound

My Lhasa suffers from skin fungus allergies and these clear him up! I also really love the scent. It was vet recommended but they were selling it for $25 at the office, so this is a much better price point.

Mal-A-Ket was recommended by our vet for our Olde English Bulldogge who had begun to suffer with skin irritation/allergies. It immediately soothed her and within a couple shampoos we saw a noticeable difference. It is a bit thick, but with a little effort it is possible to work it up into a lather and into the coat. We lather the webbing between her toes really well, too, as she was prone to pododermatitis. We leave it on for up to 10 minutes before rinsing. Our dog smells great and her coat is soft and shiny for some time after shampooing. She rarely scratches after a shampoo, and with the oatmeal shampoos she was scratching right out of the bath. It doesn't appear to be a harsh product either as we bathe her weekly and she does fine. The gallon size is an enormous cost savings as well.

This shampoo is great for your dog that has allergies and yeast infections. wE adopted a rescue dog and she was a complete mess. pUr vet recommended using this product and she is so much better! I will always keep this on hand in case her condition returns so I can begin to fight it right away.

My Yorkie has a skin yeast allergy. The Mal-A-Ket shampoo clears up the yeast fast and smells good. I am ordering an extra bottle just to have on hand. The shampoo costs Much more when I buy it from my Vet.

I actually tried this product for my dog when he has allergies all over his body like flaky itchy skin. I tried so many kind of shampoo with different kind of medication in it but this is the only shampoo that works perfectly for Joshua that's my dogs name. Since then I use this even he does have no more allergies or skin irritations.

i needed a medicated shampoo for my allergy prone dog and didn't want to pay the prices my vet charges so researched a little and bought this. I will only use it when he rolls around in something nasty, but it's good to have on hand. Haven't used it yet. Only problem and a small one was that the bottle was all taped up even though there is a protective cover and it's impossible to get all the tape off.

My long-hair cat had developed a severe case of dandruff and previous attempts to remedy the problem using other products were unsuccessful. I purchased this shampoo (and conditioner), hopeful, but expecting to be disappointed once again. I first shaved the cat and then followed that by using the shampoo and conditioner. Amazingly and surprisingly, ONE good wash seems to have corrected the problem. I will use this product religiously going forward. Well worth the money.
