Dogs or Mature Cats (over 5 lbs and at least 1 year of age or older)
Recommended for support of optimal canine or feline ocular health. Formulated to protect vital cells in the eye at the DNA and protein levels from oxidative damage. Easy to mix in food for administration to small dogs and mature cats. Optimal for pets with sensitive stomachs.
Grapeseed Extract is rich in a potent antioxidant called proanthocyanidins, which are very powerful free radical scavengers which have antiinflammatory properties and may inhibit formation of certain types of cataracts. Lutein and Zeaxanthin are carotenoid antioxidants that are necessary for protection of the retina and lens. These powerful antioxidants have been shown to decrease the risk and severity of certain retinal diseases, slow agerelated cataract formation in certain models and improve overall immune health. Omega-3 Fatty Acids are essential fatty acids that cannot be synthesized by the body. Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) has potent antiinflammatory effects, supports retinal health and may protect against certain types of cataracts and retinal degenerative diseases.
