My dog has been on palladia for only a short time for mast cell tumors and already we are seeing improvement in the size of the tumors themselves and little to no side effects from taking this medication

My dachshund takes this 15 mg tablet three times a week as prescribed by an oncology vet. He had surgery for anal gland tumor in March of 2020. It is now Jan 2023 and the cancer has not returned. So, it works off-use even if it is intended for mast cell tumors. Sometimes, I have to stop the medication for two weeks because he is losing weight or not eating or there has been an event that has interrupted his routine. We restart the medication when he is stabilized and all is ok .

Elsa has taken Palladia for one month and went back to the oncologist and her tumor has shrunk about 1 centimeters we are so happy it is helping her she is now on her second month of Palladia!

As cancer meds go, this has definitely been the stabilizer for our AmStaff's Mast Cell cancer. She had started out on a fairly high dose initially and her GI system took a bit of a hit, but after a couple of weeks things settled down. We are now on a 50 mg maintenance dose and her body is tolerating it very well; she is eating great, has normal stools again, and as much energy as a puppy (she is 11, btw). As for price, while still pretty expensive Allivet's prices are half of what we were paying the vet. And with auto-shipping (which offers additional discounts as well), we never have to worry about missing a dose. Allivet contacts the vet directly, gets it filled, and shipped to us asap.

To our surprise, this is working! Our sweet Pekingese Baxter has nasal cancer. His oncologic Veterinarian has prescribed this medication. Unfortunately Allivet was out of the 50mg pills that I usually get so I ordered the 10mg-5 of them. When I called Allivet to tell them that the shipping was taking a little longer than I expected, the customer service member did a courtesy overnight shipping at no charge! This is a harsh chemo drug, but needed to treat my dog's cancer. Allivet's price was less than half what my vet's office charges, and will greatly help us pay for treatment. Only complaint is that it was out-of-stock when I first tried to place the order. It took longer to arrive as a result, requiring us to purchase palladia at the vet's office for a lot more while we waiting for Allivet to get it back in stock. I hope that's not a regular occurrence.

This is a great product. My dog had been diagnosed with a cancerous mass on her right leg, it got so bad to the point that she couldn't walk. After a month of using this product, the mass disappeared completely. ** Although this is a great product, it is very strong on the pet's stomach. Please be sure to talk to your vet so you can get digestive support for your pet, otherwise, Palladia can give your pet strong diarrhea and/or vomiting. Also, please be aware this product will make your pet lose weight.

Not sure of the effectiveness yet. Trying to kill some cancer cells in my 12 year old Goldendoodle. My dog has been able to tolerate the tablets, just has minor upset stomach on occasion.

V. good medication for our pet

My dog tolerates this very well and easily takes it in a pill pocket. I would say 5 stars, but I don't know if it's actually working, this is only the 3rd month he's been on it. So far all is well and you can't even tell he has cancer.

The jury is still out of this product-- my dog has cancer and has recently started treatment using Palladia. Simon has been on Palladia for four weeks now and has yet to have a negative reaction to it. I was hesitant to try chemo for him because I was unwilling to have him get sick from it. So far he hasn't had ANY bad reaction to it. No nausea, no diarrhea, no hair loss. He'll have lung x-rays in a few weeks to assess whether or not the cancer has spread, so we'll know more then how effective it is on treating his cancer.

These little Palladia are very expensive so it's fantastic that Allivet is a Vet-VIPPS certified pharmacy that has the genuine article available. Delivery was quite speedy given they're coming to me in California all they way from Florida.

My dog, Charlie, was diagnosed with adrenal cancer on 12/7/15. The oncologist prescribed Palladia and we still have our Charlie. Allivet has been great to work with. Customer Service has been very pleasant and I get my order exactly when they say I will have it.
