PETIZYME Powder is a digestive aid supplement consisting of porcine pancreatic enzymes. PETIZYME Powder contains concentrated pancreatic enzymes including amylase, lipase, and protease. These enzymes aid in the breakdown and digestion of the fats, proteins and carbohydrates in your dog or cat’s regular diet. The addition of PETIZYME to your dog or cats’ diet on an as needed basis helps support digestion which may increase nutrient absorption. For use as a digestive aid in instances where the breakdown of fats, proteins and carbohydrates needs additional supplementation.
Dogs or Cats (12 weeks of age or older)
Effective supplemental digestive aid. High quality porcine pancreatic enzyme supplement. Aids in overall nutrient absorption in cases where supplementation is indicated. Contains amylase, protease, lipase and other digestive enzymes.
Aids in the breakdown of fats, proteins and carbohydrates supporting digestion and nutrient absorption.
The most common side effects of pancreatin powder are GI upset. Feeding the minimal amount of powder necessary to achieve desired results is recommended. Effective amount can vary on an individual basis. Discontinue use in instances of sensitivity of either dog/cat or owner. Not for use in dogs/cats with pork protein sensitivity.

Mix thoroughly with moistened food (canned or dry) and let stand 15-to 20 minutes prior to feeding.
Directions : Mix with each feeding by adding Petizyme powder to moistened food (canned or dry) and mixing thoroughly. Let stand at room temperature for 15-20 minutes to allow pre-digestion of food to begin. For dogs 3/4 - 1 teaspoonful of powder with each full meal. For cats 1/4 to 3/4 teasponnful with each full meal. Amount of powder should be adjusted on an individual basis with the goal of using the least amount of powder neccesary to achieve the desired results. Discontinue use in animals if symptoms of sensitivity or GI upset occur.
