Prevail Equine Paste works to reduce fever and relieve pain and inflammation caused by disorders of the musculoskeletal system of horses.
What does Prevail Equine Paste, 30 gm do?
This paste contains flunixin meglumine, a non-steroidal, non-narcotic, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, and potent analgesic. It is far more powerful as an analgesic than codeine, meperidine, and pentazocine, working within two hours of feeding. It reaches its peak response 12 to 16 hours after administration, and it works for a 24 to 36 hour period.

Overview
DOSE: 0.5 mg per pound of body weight per day for up to 5 days. Each calibration on the syringe' doses 250 lbs of body weight. Administer orally by inserting the nozzle of the syringe through the interdental space and depositing the required amount of paste on the back of the tongue by depressing the plunger. *Use dial edge nearest syringe barrel to mark dose. One syringe will treat a 1000-lb horse once daily for 3 days, or three 1000-lb horses one time.
