This product contains N-octyl Bicycloheptene Dicarboximide (21%) and Permethrin (7%) to repel and kill the following types of flies:
  • Bot flies
  • Black flies
  • House flies

Any pesticide can cause sensitivities in animals. If you notice any signs of a reaction, bathe the animal using mild soap and rinse using plenty of water. If signs persist, seek immediate veterinary attention.

What to know before using Prozap War Paint Insecticidal Paste, 3.4 oz
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Thoroughly wash hands using soap and water after handling.
  • Take care not to contaminate foodstuff or food.
  • Do not allow contact with clothing, eyes, or skin.
  • Harmful if absorbed into skin or swallowed.
  • Some horses may experience ingredient sensitivity and resulting local irritation. In case of irritation, withdraw use. In case of persistent irritation, notify your veterinarian.
  • Once this product is applied to the hair, it may not be wiped off. Do not apply within 1 to 2 weeks of events or shows where appearance is a concern.
  • Never apply to a wet animal. This product cannot adhere to a moist surface.

Overview
FULL BODY FLY CONTROL: Adult horses: For the treatment of pastured horses, it is recommended that a full application of War Paint be applied as a single treatment. This should provide adequate fly control for approximately one week on pastured horses. Apply one (1) gram under each eye, two (2) grams on withers and two (2) grams on each leg below the hock or knee — 12 grams total as a single treatment. DO NOT REPEAT TREATMENT FOR SEVEN (7) DAYS.
