My yorkie is 15 and after an anal operation when he was 13 he needed something to help his digestive system come around because of chronic diarrhea. My older dog has stomach/digestive issues. This has settled his stomach a great deal and he vomits far less.

My dog had pancreatitis a few years ago and we changed everything related to his diet to be very careful. A couple of months ago, after staying in a kennel, he was having increased symptoms - always acted hungry, having multiple episodes of diarrhea, including extreme urgency. We were up several times each night with him needing to go out. He had been on the same low fat, high protein food for a few years with minimal issues, but would go through episodes of diarrhea and accidents. But this was different and all the usual treatment did not work. He went from 15.6 lbs to 12 lbs. Found a new Vet...who changed him to Purina Pro Plan Vet Enteric low fat food and we used a product similar to this on his food. ALL the difference in the world. I have always been a supporter of probiotics in humans and now my dog; so I want to try this regularly and hope to help his overall health and digestion. Will update the rating on this after using the product.

I sprinkle it on his evening food, add a little water and stir it up to dissolve into sort of a gravy. He seems to enjoy it too.

Fortiflora works great for my dog. I was not happy with the customer service of Allivet however. I tried calling two different days to check on the order status and was on hold for at least 20 minutes each time, and the prompt to leave a message never directed me to a voicemail system.

This seem to work very well for my Black & Tan Coonhound.

My dog had the runs as a result of extended antibiotics for lyme disease. This fixed her intestines within a couple of weeks. The softness and fullness of her coat has improved dramatically as well so I have kept her on the probiotics.
