Rugby Zinc Oxide Ointment (USP) is an antiseptic, astringent, protective, counterirritant, and effective topical ointment that helps treat and manage superficial abrasions and wounds.
It is an effective protective astringent, antiseptic, and counterirritant ointment for topical application to aid in the management of superficial wounds and abrasions in horses and livestock.
For use on livestock and horses.
Features of Rugby Zinc Oxide Ointment:
- Useful in preventing and treating minor irritations of the skin, including scrapes, cuts, and burns
- Eases rheumatism, gout, and arthritis pain
- Effective treatment for skin conditions like fungal infections and psoriasis
This ointment forms a skin barrier, protecting it from moisture and irritants. It is counter-irritating, topically-applied, antiseptic, and astringent.
Irritation may occur with use of this product.
Zinc Oxide 20%
Contact your closest emergency pet hospital.
- In case of persistent or increasing swelling, irritation, or redness, withdraw use and notify your veterinarian.
- If the animal has a severe burn or a puncture or deep wound, only administer with veterinarian approval.
- Do not use on irritated skin and withdraw use if severe irritation occurs.

Thoroughly cleanse and dry area of skin to be treated. Apply Rugby Zinc Oxide Ointment directly on the wound with a spatula or place on a piece of gauze.
Active Ingredients : Zinc Oxide 20%
Inactive Ingredients : Light Mineral Oil, White Beeswax, White Petrolatum.
