Great product works well

My dog Disel is 11 years old and has dementia. His Vet recommended Selegiline which has helped a lot. Disel doesn't seem to have as many mood changes and seems more alert. I understand this does not stop the dementia, however, it seems to slow it down.

My dog has CCD and takes Seregeline. Allivet gives excellent customer service and I trust them to take care of my orders.

Jack Russell age 12 became dysphoric, panting, soiling, and pacing. This medication has stopped the soiling altogether and the panting and pacing is minimal.

Cannot comment on the quality of the selegiline, but it was the best price that I could find. Allivet did all the work of contacting my vet for the prescription and mailed the medication out to me quickly. No problems!

The results were amazing at first when given to my senior Westie for dementia, I still think it helps and continue to give it, but the results are not as remarkable as at first. But, she is almost 16... definitely helpful and worth a try... Allivet was recommended by my vet for having the best price for this medication and she was correct!

My dog has cushings and at 18 yrs old it seems to help her awareneness. Advised by her vet to try this and she was right.

As both pet parent & veterinarian, I have a unique dual-sided experience. As a pet parent, I was thrilled when the company reached out to let me know they were working to get my prescription filled, but as a veterinarian I was irritated that they claimed to have contacted the clinic twice with no response. In truth, I had not received any communication from them at the hospital where I work, but I had taken the time to fax a written prescription for the product a full day before receiving the email claiming they had twice tried to contact the clinic. As for the delivery of the medication, once the communications were cleared up, Allivet was amazing! My order arrived exactly as advertised, on time, and undamaged. More over, the product is exactly what I ordered - in date (not expired), sealed with a tamper-proof seal (so I know the medication in the bottle is the actual medication), and appropriately labeled for with clear directions for use. For the product, itself, it is too early to tell - my 16 year old cocker spaniel mix has canine cognitive dysfunction syndrome and it can take up to 2 months before improvement is seen. We have only had the prescription for about 4 days, but I am hopeful that we will have positive results. Even though I only gave 4/5 stars due to the minor communication confusion, I would 100% recommend this company to my friends, family, &/or clients based on my personal experience with my single item purchase & I will continue to use Allivet for my own personal pet parent/veterinary needs.

Need this stuff for Tulle's doggie dementia and it is $1.95 per capsule at the drug store. You guys have it for 1/2 price so I can afford to treat her now. During Hurricane Irma, you were closed for 5 days, my order got stuck and I didn't have meds. Allivet sent the order out "2 day". Tulle and I appreciate your kindness so much. Thanks!

The selegiline has been so helpful in keeping my 16 yr old Chihuahua 'with it'. He's much sharper and doesn't wander around the yard, lost. And Allivet gets these out immediately and they arrive in just a few days. Great product and great company!

Product is great. Recommended by our vet for our 15 yr old yorkie who has old dog syndrome/dementia. Took a few weeks for the drug to kick in. Not a cure all but if definitely helps. My 14 year old cocker spaniel, Sadie, used to follow me around and come looking for me. The past several days, I noticed a change. Since my sister has been using this prescription, her dog has returned to a level we were accustomed to seeing him--not a spry young puppy, mind you--but still he wasn't staring at the wall. Sadie is not there, but I want to help her as long as I can.

This medication has worked well in calming my dog and reducing her symptoms of dementia. Prior to getting her on it I tried every natural and alternative treatment available and nothing helped. She was having frequent frantic running spells, jumping across the room, falling off of furniture, and pacing non-stop. She has been on this medication for about 4 months now and thankfully there was a noticeable improvement in her behavior in just a few days. She very rarely has frantic running spells, she paces for a couple of hours every day (better than 24 hours/day), and she stares at walls and falls off furniture only on occasion. For her, 1 capsule has been the best dosage. When I tried 2 capsules she became physically unsteady and more disoriented.

My 15-yr-old min poodle has been taking this for 2 months. We have noticed an improvement in his dementia. Has helped with accidents in the house. He is now remembering to alert us to when he needs to go outside. Has helped with cognitive function as well

It's hard to say what works with dogs with dementia but I feel this is helping my dog a little. He seems calmer, he's less aggressive with his long term partner dog, which was my main goal. He still paces about the yard a lot. HIs appetite has improved
