Product Overview
Sucralfate is a protective medication for the treatment and prevention of gastric ulcers. Your veterinarian may also recommend it for the treatment of other problems.

For use in horses.
Sucralfate has been shown to offer significant relief from ulcer-related abdominal pain. It treats right dorsal colon ulcers and gastric ulcers.
Sucralfate primarily works in the stomach lining, adhering to the site of ulcers and offering protection from bile salt, enzymes, and acids.
Adverse reactions are uncommon with Sucralfate use. Hypophosphatemia or constipation has been reported in a low number of horses.
