Surolan Otic Suspension is a combination of prednisolone, miconazole, and polymyxin B. It is used in the treatment of dermatitis and ear infections (otitis externa).
Surolan Otic Suspension, 15 mL combines polymyxin B, miconazole, and prednisolone together to treat ear infections (otitis externa) and dermatitis in dogs. Surolan petmeds are effective against infections caused by yeast, fungi, and gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It also soothes itching and treats ear mite infestations.
For use in dogs.
Features of Surolan Otic Suspension:
- Does not stain or leave a greasy residue
- Effectively treats otitis externa (swimmer's ear)
- Treats skin, ear, yeast, fungal, and bacterial infections
- Offers improvement within only 7 days for 96.7% of dogs
Surolan contains antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, and antifungal agents, such as miconazole, prednisolone, and polymyxin B. These ingredients all contribute toward treatment of otitis externa (swimmer's ear).
Possible adverse reactions include:
- Deafness
- Reduced hearing
- Topical sensitivity
