Product Overview
Vet Solutions Surgical Scrub & Handwash is useful as a healthcare personnel handwash, patient preparatory solution, and surgical scrub. Formulated with moisturizers and emollients, this product prevents the dryness that can result from scrubbing.
Surgical Scrub & Handwash (2% Chloroxylenol, USP) may be used as a surgical scrub, patient prep and handwash for health care personnel.
For healthcare provider use before a surgical procedure, or for use as a hand wash.
Vet Solutions Surgical Scrub & Handwash is gentle on the skin. It is antimicrobial, and it contains moisturizers and emollients.
This solution contains chloroxylenol, which is incredibly effective in combating gram-positive bacteria. It disrupts the cell wall, which puts a stop to enzyme function.
No known side effects
2% CHLOROXYLENOL, USP
Contact the nearest emergency hospital if swallowed.
- If redness or skin irritation develop or persist for over five days, withdraw use and consult your veterinarian.
- Do not allow eye contact. If contact does occur, thoroughly rinse the eyes with water.
- Keep away from children.
- Only intended for external use.

Vetoquinol
This formula is incredibly gentle for the hands. That makes it a great alternative for those with iodine or chlorhexidine sensitivities.
Directions For Use
Use full strength. Do not dilute.
As a Surgical Scrub :
Wash hands and arms for 2 minutes with 5mL of Scrub. Pay particular attention to nails, cuticles and interdigital spaces. Rinse thoroughly.
As a Handwash :
Wet hands and wash vigorously with 2mL of scrub. Rinse thoroughly.
Active Ingredient : 2% CHLOROXYLENOL, USP
Inactive Ingredients : Deionized Water, FD&C Blue #1, FD&C Yellow #5, Fragrance, Hydroxyethlylcellulose, Polyquaternium-7, Polysorbate-20, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate, Sodium Laurel Sulfate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Citric Acid may be added to adjust pH
