Unfortunately, this product is noticeable to pets who have allergies and sensitivities. My kitty - who has food allergies - would not even eat his food with this supplement sprinkled onto/into his food. It might work with other animals but apparently pets with certain sensitivities will easily notice that their food has changed when this item is added to it.
Toy dog teeth are very difficult to keep clean probably because the mouth is so small to house all the regular number of teeth. I watched some of my conformation student's teeth to be exceptionally sparkling and she told me about this wonderful product. Dentals at the vet are so expensive and traumatic so I have kept looking for a better solution than brushing those tiny mouths. This is one of the best products I have found yet and I will continue using it until every toy dog I see weekly has clean teeth by using it.
