Ciprofloxacin is a systemic fluoroquinolone antibiotic that is useful in treating or preventing specific types of bacterial infection. It is an excellent treatment option for respiratory, skin, and urinary tract infections.
Tablets are sold individually.
Ciprofloxacin is an antibiotic used to treat or prevent certain infections caused by bacteria. Ciprofloxacin can be used to treat certain types of urinary tract infections, skin infections and respiratory infections.
For use in horses, cats, and dogs.
Ciprofloxacin is a useful treatment for bacterial infections, including:
- Respiratory infections
- Skin infections
- Urinary tract infections
Ciprofloxacin works by blocking the bacteria's ability to make DNA, causing it to die out.
If your pet experiences any of the following severe adverse reactions, withdraw use and seek immediate veterinary attention:
- More or less frequent urination
- Bloody or watery diarrhea
- Yellow eyes or skin
- Dark urine
- Decreased appetite
- Low-grade fever
- Nausea
- Joint swelling
- Sudden onset of pain
- Depression
- Confusion
- Convulsions
- Seizures
- Muscle pain
- Stiff joints
- Blurry vision
- Drowsiness
- Dizziness
- Diarrhea
- Vomiting
